Father God, I come to you asking that you will bless Debbie and her family. I pray that you will supply their every need and most of their wants. I pray that she will be amazed at how well you take care of your children. I pray that her finances will be met in abundance. I pray that she will be blessed with a job that she will enjoy, and will take the financial burden from her. I pray that you will place individuals in her path that can help her through this difficult time. I pray that you will restore her life even better than it was before. I thank you for sending her to this site, and I pray that everyone here will take this opportunity to encourage her, help her, and remember her in prayer.

Thank you very much for the sweet and encouraging prayer. The book of Psalms is very inspirational and I visit it daily. I gave my heart to the Lord 35 years ago and He has never let me down. I would not be able to face what I am going through without God taking my hand and leading me through it. I don't understand how any one could face this world without Him.

I just prayed the prayer.
I cannot take credit for it;the reason its so beautiful is because its from the bible. Its Psalm 91 (I posted it at the bottom of prayer). I learned a few years ago to pray 'the Word & mix faith with it'.

Susie who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Susie will say of the L-rd, He is her refuge and her fortress; Her G-d, in Him will she trust.
Surely He shall deliver Susie from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover Susie with His feathers, and under His wings shall Susie take refuge; His truth shall be Susie's shield and buckler.
Susie shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at Susie's side, and ten thousand at her right hand; but it shall not come near Susie.
Only with her eyes shall she see the reward of the wicked.
Because Susie have made the L-rd, who is her refuge, even the Most High, her dwelling place.
No evil shall befall her, nor shall any plague come near her dwelling.
For He shall give His angels charge over Susie, to keep her in all Your ways.
In their hands, they shall bear Susie up, lest she dash her foot against a stone.
Susie shall tread upon the the lion and the cobra (of cancer), the young lion and the serpent Susie shall trample under foot.
Because she has set her love upon You, therefore You will deliver Susie; You will set her on high, because she has known Your name.
Susie shall call upon You, and You will answer her. You will be with her in trouble; You will deliver her and honor her.
With long life You will satisfy Susie, and show her Your salvation.

Thank you. Today is a better day. My pain is bearable and I was able to eat a little this morning.
Cancer is hard but it is a lot harder if you are stuck in bed all day. I really become discouraged when I cannot reach out to others. Cancer wins if I let it destroy my spirit. It has the power to take my life, but it is up to me to turn it around to help someone else. I am a firm believer that there is good in every situation we face, we just have to allow God to reveal that good and use it for His glory.
There is a country song, I think the name of it is "Live like you were dying." I heard it before I became ill, but never really heard it under I knew I was dying. When a person knows their days on this earth is coming to an end their LIFE CHANGES. You honestly try to consume every moment you have with the people you love, and you try to make sure everyone in your life knows you love them. I am so blessed to have a relationship with God and know where I will be when I take my last breath on this earth. I now feel that time is running out and I need to focus what time I have left to share Christ with others.
I do struggle with leaving my son and with my finances, but I know God will take care of everything. My son's life will be blessed because he always puts God first, and I know God will provide answers for our financial hardship. I know God will not abandon us in our hour of need.
Thank you for cheering me up this morning with your sweet words. I think it would be great today if everyone on Aidpage sent a positive comment to someone else here who needs encouraged. I challenge everyone to pass on the kindness. You my friend have started the challenge and I hope others follow your lead.

Oh susie6 it is good to hear from you. I am sorry what you have to go through it just isn't fair. I am glad hospice is helping and you feel better. My mom went through a lot of pain with cancer too.
My cat stays in the bedroom and I let him sleep with me last night bad mistake and I didn't got to bed till 130am and he got up pawing me for treats at 330am so I had to put him out and then I went back to sleep till530 and layed there. A 7 am he is banging at the door to be let in. I had coffe and protein powder and then fruit and ate breakfast - I just want a nap. I think I might go back to bed at 5pm and take a nap.
It just started to rain bad again and the sun was out earlier.
As for other things it is nothing like what you are going through except we both feel financial crunch and not enough hours in day. I am a night owl but I better get to bed at 11pm except other night owls I know are chatting with me then...
Oh well..
I just wish you could be healed from cancer. I pray you get to see your son gratduate and your pain isn't as great. I care about you.

Good to hear from you. I have been really down the pass few days.The pain is getting worse, so I've been in bed a lot. Hospice got my pain medicine changed and its helping some, so I am doing better today.
